Dear Béu, SoGoNo is pleased to announce that our newest, hottest work, BIRD SUITE, will premiere at FLICfest in Irondale Center this coming January! And we need your help to finish the piece! Mioko Mochizuki, our fabulously talented costume designer, has sketched fantastic flamingo and slinky swan costumes for the lovely dancers and we humbly ask for your help to make them come to life!  What We Need & What You Get: We need to raise $5,000 to make this all happen. Costumes are $200 each and we need 7 new ones (see drawings above - they will be gorgeous! and you can have your very own drawings of them!) We also need $1,000 for photos and video shoot - we plan to take this show on the road and this is our chance to get good images for marketing. You can get a copy too! And then there's rehearsal space, music costs, and dancer fees. We have been lucky to have NYSCA support in 2011 which helped get this show going. However NYSCA for the coming year is uncertain. Albany is delaying decisions, as you might imagine, and so we are coming to friends for help. We are applying for other grants (Puffin Foundation of course haha) but our dear supporters are certainly the most reliable source of funding we've ever had. So please contribute if you can!
